Found in SEO · Rank tracking
Where you rank on Google, and how it is moving.
Every keyword you track gets a Google position, the page of your site that ranks for it, and its movement since the last check and since the first. Checks run on a schedule you choose, and you can ask for a fresh one whenever something changes.
Twice a month by default, weekly or monthly if you prefer. We never market daily checks: day-to-day positions bounce around and hide the real trend.
| Keyword | Position | Since last check | Ranking page |
|---|---|---|---|
| custom leather wallet | 3 | +2 | /wallets |
| personalized dog collar | 6 | +5 | /collars/personalized |
| leather care kit | 11 | -1 | /care-kit |
| handmade belt | New | First check | /belts |
| monogram passport cover | Not checked yet | Next check | Queued |
Example data. A keyword shows "not checked yet" until its first check, never a guessed position.
Every check records
More than a number.
Position
Where your site appears in Google results for the keyword, from the top of page one down through the first pages of results.
Ranking page
Which page on your site is the one Google shows. When the wrong page ranks, you will see it, and that is often the quickest fix.
Movement
How far each keyword moved since the last check and since the first one, so a slow climb or a slide is easy to spot.
Gaps
Keywords on page two, deeper, or missing altogether are flagged as gaps and sent to your content queue as suggestions.
History and schedule
Built for the trend, not the daily noise.
Twice a month by default
That is enough to see real movement for most businesses. Your account can switch to weekly or monthly at any time.
Check now
Published a new page or fixed a problem? Ask for a fresh check and see the result without waiting for the next scheduled run.
Every result kept
Each check is stored, so you can look back months and see when a keyword climbed or slipped, and what you published around then.
Your history comes with you
If we already tracked your rankings, up to three years of history is imported, so your charts start full rather than empty.
In your portal
Found in SEO Analytics and Rankings.
Your rankings live in their own tab in your Found in AI portal, next to your AI Visibility Score, your tracked AI questions and your gap queue.
You see the same view we do. Nothing is hidden behind a monthly report, and nothing is waiting on someone to export a spreadsheet.
Honest about it
What the numbers can and cannot tell you.
Positions vary by location and device. We check consistently each time, so the trend is reliable even when one search in one place looks different.
Nobody can guarantee a ranking. Found in SEO measures where you are and helps you improve; Google decides the order.
A keyword with no result yet says so. We never fill a gap with a guess.
Questions
About rank tracking.
Why not check every day?
Day-to-day positions move for reasons that have nothing to do with your site. Twice a month shows the real direction, and you can switch to weekly or ask for a check whenever you need one.
How many keywords can I track?
It depends on your plan. The pricing page shows the number of Google keywords each Found in AI plan includes.
Can I add or change keywords?
Yes. Tell us what to add or remove, or change the list in your account once self-serve rankings reach it.
What if a keyword is not ranking at all?
It is marked as a gap rather than given a made-up position, and a suggested article or page update lands in your content queue.
