AI Overviews appear above the search results for many local questions, so they are tracked next to the chat assistants.

Because customers use different tools, and the tools often give different answers to the same question. Tracking one would hide most of the picture.
Do you use my login for these tools?
No. We ask the questions ourselves, the way a new customer would. You do not connect any AI account.
