For beauty brands on Shopify

Your INCI list is on the bottle. Is it on the product page AI reads?

Beauty shoppers ask AI tools about ingredients, skin types and routines, and the answers quote whichever brand put that information in plain text. Found in AI shows which of your Shopify product pages get named, and which ingredient, shade and routine details are missing from them.

What is a gentle vitamin C serum for sensitive skin that does not oxidize quickly?

Derivatives such as ascorbyl glucoside or sodium ascorbyl phosphate tend to be gentler and more stable than pure L-ascorbic acid. Competitor A names the exact form and percentage on its product page and explains how to store the bottle.

How buyers decide

Skincare questions are ingredient questions in disguise. A shopper asking for something gentle on rosacea, safe in pregnancy or free of fragrance is really asking which formulas contain or avoid specific ingredients at specific strengths. Shopify stores often keep the full INCI list in a collapsed tab, a PDF or an image of the carton, and AI answers end up quoting the brands that typed theirs into the page.

Shades and variants carry their own problem. A foundation sold in forty shades is usually one product with forty variants, and the undertone notes that matter to a shopper are often only visible as color swatches. Short written shade descriptions, matched to common comparisons, make a variant something an assistant can describe instead of a square of color it cannot interpret.

Routines and bundles round it out. People ask how to layer retinol with vitamin C, what order to apply products in or which set suits a teenager starting out. A routine page or a bundle description that explains the order and the reasons gives the AI tool a complete answer that happens to be built from your products.

Questions we would track

Eight questions from your customers, and who gets named.

What AI tools can use

Content that answers the questions in your trade.

We cannot decide what an AI tool says. What you can control is whether your website answers your customers' questions clearly. These are the kinds of pages that do.

  1. 01

The full INCI list in page text

Type every ingredient into the product description or a visible metafield, along with the strength of the actives. Ingredient questions can only be answered from words on the page, not from a photo of a carton.

  2. 02

    Shade descriptions for every variant

Describe depth, undertone and a few common comparisons for each shade in words. Variant swatches tell a person something and tell a crawler nothing.

  3. 03

Routine pages built from your range

Publish routines by skin concern with the order of use and the reason for each step, linked to the products. A routine is a complete answer that an AI tool can pass on whole.

  4. 04

    Claims you can stand behind

Say what a formula is free of, how it was tested and who should patch test first, without medical promises. Cautious, specific wording is the kind skincare answers repeat.

On Shopify

How the fixes reach your Shopify store.

Connecting

The setup wizard walks you through a small custom app in your Shopify admin. Our public app is in Shopify's review, and the one-click install replaces this step once it is approved.

Product pages

The Product Page Writer drafts a fuller description, an SEO title, an SEO description and image alt text from your own product data. Nothing changes until you press Update my store.

Collection pages and articles

When a gap is best answered by a collection page or a new article, we write it for you, ready to paste into Shopify or download as Google Docs, Word, HTML or Markdown.

Gaps

Where a competitor was named and you were not.

Every report lists these gaps, with an idea for what to publish to answer each question.

Questions about shopify beauty and skincare brands

Our ingredient lists are in a tab. Is that a problem?

It can be, depending on the theme. If the tab content loads only after a click or a script, it may not be read the way body text is. We show which product pages AI answers link to so you can test the difference.

We have dozens of shades. Do you track shade questions?

Yes. Shade matching questions such as foundation for olive or deep skin are common, and we can track them for your complexion products specifically.

Can Found in AI guarantee our serum gets recommended?

It cannot, and nobody can guarantee an AI recommendation. It reports where your brand and products appear, where competitors appear instead, and which content is worth adding.

How is this different from the general beauty page?

The beauty page is about what shoppers ask. This page covers how a Shopify catalog answers them: variants, ingredient fields, product templates and routine bundles.

Not just another AI tracker

More than a score. Four things a tracker leaves out.

A tracker tells you whether you were named. Found in AI shows where a competitor wins, writes the answer (and publishes it, where your site supports one-click publishing), and puts an AI analyst and a real agency behind it.

Gap analysis

Every question where AI names a competitor and not you, ranked by what it costs you. Few tools show this.
