For cybersecurity vendors

Security teams ask AI tools which vendors to trust. Find out whose names come back.

An IT lead facing a new compliance deadline or a ransomware scare often asks an assistant what to put in place and who provides it. Found in AI tracks those questions and shows where your company is named, where analyst-style answers favor other vendors, and which technical content is missing.

Security buying is driven by events. A failed audit, a cyber insurance questionnaire, a phishing incident at a peer company, and suddenly an IT director needs to understand a category fast. Many now start by asking an assistant to explain the options and name a few providers, because the alternative is a week of vendor calls full of acronyms.

Those answers reward vendors who teach. Explainers of a framework control, write-ups of a recent attack technique and plain descriptions of what a service covers are the material assistants summarize and attribute. A site that hides everything behind a demo request gives them nothing to work with, however strong the product.

Trust signals are read closely in this field. Named certifications, published response commitments, the frameworks you map to and a clear description of who operates the service at night all appear in the answers that name a vendor. Vague claims of being next generation or AI powered rarely survive into an assistant's summary.

Questions we would track

Eight questions from your customers, and who gets named.

Real questions a shopper types into an AI tool. Each card shows who the sample answer named.

What AI tools can use

Content that answers the questions in your trade.

We cannot decide what an AI tool says. What you can control is whether your website answers your customers' questions clearly. These are the kinds of pages that do.

  1. 01

    Explainers buyers can learn from

Write clear guides to the categories and frameworks your buyers are trying to understand. An assistant explaining the difference between two acronyms will name whoever explained it best.

  2. 02

    Published service commitments

State what you monitor, your response targets and who is on shift overnight. Specific commitments in text are what an answer can repeat when someone asks who to trust.

  3. 03

    Framework and compliance mapping

Map your services to the controls of the frameworks your buyers are audited against, one page per framework. Compliance questions are asked by name, and so are the vendors that answer them.

  4. 04

Threat research with your name on it

Short, dated write-ups of attack techniques you have seen, with practical steps, become sources assistants cite when a new threat is in the news.

Gaps

Where a competitor was named and you were not.

Every report lists these gaps, with an idea for what to publish to answer each question.

Questions about cybersecurity companies

Our buyers are technical. Do they really use AI tools?

Many do, especially to get oriented in an unfamiliar category before talking to vendors. We track the questions they ask at that stage and show which vendors the answers name.

Will publishing threat research help us appear?

Research that is specific, dated and practical is the kind of content AI answers tend to attribute. We show which of your pages are cited today and where competitors' research is cited instead.

Can you guarantee our company is named for security questions?

No. No one can guarantee that, and no honest service would promise it. We measure your appearances against named competitors every month and point you to the content gaps behind them.

Do you see any of our confidential information?

No. We ask public AI tools the same questions a buyer would and read public pages. Nothing from your internal systems is needed.

Not just another AI tracker

More than a score. Four things a tracker leaves out.

A tracker tells you whether you were named. Found in AI shows where a competitor wins, writes the answer (and publishes it, where your site supports one-click publishing), and puts an AI analyst and a real agency behind it.

Gap analysis

Every question where AI names a competitor and not you, ranked by what it costs you. Few tools show this.
